Crafty News — Sports memory bear

Recently my daughter's fiancé celebrated a milestone birthday and as he's a huge football fan I decided to make him a sports shirt memory bear in honour of his team. I used the Jingle Bear Sewing Pattern as I wanted to make a hat and scarf too. I fussy cut an old team sweatshirt and took part of the ribbing to make the hat. Today I have these gorgeous teddies to show you made expertly by Sue from the Jingle Bear pattern. She told me:-"I’ve found my niche! I now make bears from sports shirts.  We all love rugby league so it started with one of my sons coaches becoming a Dad so I used one of his old shirts to make a memory bear with the baby’s name and birthday.
