Good morning lovelies, the sun is shining here and its beginning to feel a bit more like summer! Today I have this peachy little bear to share with you, sent in by Amy who used the Patchwork Bear Sewing Pattern. She told me... "I've never made bears before, it really is a good pattern to get a nice result. I started by making one for my baby out of one of my late fathers shirts so that he had a bit of grandad to keep. I love seeing what you guys can create using our patterns and today I have this beautiful wedding keepsake bear and patchwork cushion to show you. It was carefully and lovingly made by Sara for her best friend using a relatives wedding outfit. I love the way she has fussy cut the fabric to place the embroidered details to best advantage and I think she has made a fabulous job of the facial features -  the eyes are adorable and so simply done. This little combination is practically perfect in every way! She made her bear using the Harley Bear sewing pattern, a pair of recycled jeans along with some contrasting heart print fabric. I love the little flower buttons used on the joints and the re-purposed pocket stitched on the back like a little rucksack! Yay! its nearly the weekend and today we have this little cutie to show you, made by Julie using the Harley Bear Sewing Pattern. I love the styling of this bear, the ditzy floral fabric really contrasts with, but also complements the textured mauve fabric. The two work really well together.
